All the overpaid pompous wags running our industry and financial institutions should have their mental skills reviewed on the TV program called “Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?”.

We’ve all seen teachers with high degrees ask the kids for help and still lose. High school and college honor students have failed. This program should be made the national compulsory standard for all CEOs and the bankers of Wall St. Those who fail, and most will, should then be forced to resign and apply for a real job! Politicians will oppose my idea, because they will fear they may also have to take a “fifth grade” exam.

The New York Post might exonerate itself if it published a cartoon depicting a floppy-eared, bony, rabid , wide-eyed cow wallowing knee-deep in the muddy streets of New Orleans (preferably outside a shuttered hospital), all the while defecating on bags of federal aid $$$!

They don’t even have to mention anything about “slumdog” governor. Just wouldn’t be fair!

I had to write about George Zimmer. I only went on his website because I needed a suit for someone and wanted to know the owner of the store I would buy from. I went on several websites as well and seen all the great work he is doing. I also seen many websites that put him down. I figured they put him down because of jealousy. I know the employees of Mr. Zimmer are well pleased with him and so am I and may one day work for him myself (who knows)if he is really all that I seen. I hope he keeps going up just because of who he is and what he does. Thanks for the website!

I do understand your concern over the GOP, but under the current 2 party system you must vote for the lessor of two evils.

I am with you on Lib party but still had rather have Bush over Kerry. The Libertarian party was behind the Green party for the second election, thus moving it futher out of the minds of many of the people who vote.

I wish every person would have to write a check to the govt every three months like I do(because Im self employed), it makes you hold your elected officals much more accountable. I contact my state and fed officals often, because I feel the pain of writing the check. The govt has duped so many people, with our tax system, in that when people get a tax refund they think the govt paid them.

The avg US citizen works, goes home, drinks a beverage of choice and watches Am. Idol and only gets upset with the govt when their taxes go up or the price of gas is higher at the local Exxon. MANY politians care more about re-election than helping the people or make the govt work as it should.

BTW-PASS THE FAIR TAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Wright Amendment is a particularly sore point with me. The rogue’s gallery of pseudo-Republicans championing this piece of corrupt, anti-consumer piece of corporate welfare include: Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, Reps. Joe Barton, Kay Granger, and Kenny Marchant.

They continue to support this crazy law notwithstanding the fact that the overwhelming majority of their constituents hate it.
