    Facebook Button for Picasa

    Facebook Button for Picasa.

After uploading a few pictures to Facebook today, I remembered how handy having the Facebook Button in Picasa was and I thought everyone might not know abou it, so here it is!

Having the Facebook Button for Picasa makes uploading a one step process.  Well, one step if you use Internet Explorer.  If you’re scared of the security, or lack thereof, in IE (like me) and use Firefox or Chrome you’ll have to enter your password each time.

Hint: To avoid having to approve your uploaded photos each time, just click the Enable Extended Access link at the bottom of the screen where you choose what album to put them in.  From that point forword you’ll no longer have to log in to Facebook and approve the photos.

This is a must have for anyone who uses Facebook and Picasa.

I click ‘here it is’, and get the other windows that prompt and finally takes me to a page with a small window that says ‘click the installation button below and there isn’t any button?! What gives? I have adobe AIR installed

This post is years old, so I’ll need to do some research when I get home tonight to see why this isn’t working. I have a feeling that it’s all for naught, because Adobe is killing Air.

It’s still there. It’s called Picasa Uploader for Facebook. The problem is that it was written in Adobe Air and it’s for Picasa. Adobe has definitely announced that they are killing Air and it’s very likely that Picasa is going away as well. Google is investing all of it’s photography equity into Google+. They’ve recently added a bunch of features to the Photos in G+. If you have several shots of a group, G+ will automatically combine the photos so that it gets the best headshot of each person. It combines several similar photos into animations. It does an amazing job of automatically tweaking photos to make them look better – probably using the NIK Photoshop filters that Google got when they acquired NIK software. It’s kind of like Picasa only better.

Dude… I recently came across your blog. It rules. I watched the freedom film/cartoon… It ruled as well. I think I’ve been a Libertarian all along, but I’m scared to vote Libertarian if I think the election is massively important (like Kerry vs. Bush). I really can’t stand Democrats.

I’ve got a recent blog at Club 216 that you may want to check out…

      Thanks
