This is for everyone who has been searching for a Sirius Firefox Plugin. While this doesn’t exactly fit the bill, it is a stand-alone player for Howard 100 and Howard 101. You have to register with howardstern.com in order to download it.

Also, according to siriusbackstage.com. Sirius is to offer a high-quality internet only subscription. For $12.95 a month, Sirius will stream music to your PC at 128kbps and talk at 48kbps. Additional subscriptions will be $6.95/mo. Current Sirius subscribers can upgrade to the higher quality stream for an additional $2.95/mo.

    Pat O’Brien Black Dog!!

I think this falls under fair-use. Slightly over 1 minute of Howard‘s first show on Sirius

What do you get when you combine pervert Pat O’Brien with Led Zeppelin‘s Black Dog?

Here it is, Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog” featuring Pat O’Brien!

I’ll keep it up until I run out of bandwidth, or someone asks me to take it down…

Please don’t link directly to this file. My bandwidth is very limited.

    George Takei is Golden

Whether it’s getting into a heated debate with someone he believes is California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, or discussing the sexual benefits (taste-wise) of eating the right foods, George Takei has been a huge aquisition for The Howard Stern Show.

On Tuesday’s show George chastised an Ahh-nold impersonater for not signing the gay marriage bill into law. The whole time believing he was speaking to the real Arnold Schwarzenegger! Here are a few things “Arnold” said while pulling the wool over Takei’s eyes:

He didn’t “give a sh*t” about George and his family being in an internment camp during WWII.

He agreed to sign the gay marriage bill into law if it crossed his desk again in exchage for a “reach around”.

He said he was smoking weed and high on Vicodin.

When confronted with a replay of the call on Today’s show George was mortified, saying, “he wanted to believe” he had the forum with the Governor.

Howard read email after email praising George, and indicated he may be keeping George in the studio for more than the planned one week.

    The Revolution Has Begun!

At 6 AM EST today Howard Stern debuted on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 100. Then again at 6 AM PST he premiered on channel 101. The show got off to a rocky start. Just a few minutes in they had to cut to music because of feedback on Howard’s microphone. After a few minutes though, everything was back to "normal".

Howard did, as promised, discuss his rumored marriage to Beth O. They are not married. Although, he did lead the rest of the gang on to guage their responses. I don’t know if angry is the right word, but they were all flabergasted until they found out the truth.

There was definitely some content that would have never made the air on old fashioned terrestrial radio. The discussion of whether the word ‘cunty’ is a dirty word, the call in number 1-888-9ASSHOLE, and Captain Janks’ phony phone call to CSPAN where he asks Dennis Hastert if he has a big dick. The funniest bit had to be when they played Led Zepplin’s ‘Black Dog’ interspersed with clips from Pat O’Brien’s infamous dirty phone message. Warning! This MP3 is Dirty, Filthy and Nasty!

    Imagine:

"Hey, hey mama gonna make you move gonna make you move gonna make you *insert loosely rhyming Pat O’Brien lewd suggestion here*".

    UPDATE! Download the mp3 here!

The highlight of the day had to be the introduction of the recently outed George Takei, of Star Trek fame, as the show’s new announcer. George wasn’t afraid to discuss anything, and had opinions on most things. He was the one that settled the the ‘cunty’ discussion by pointing out what it did refer to.

The much anticipated revelations were read on the air today:

    • Someone cheated on his wife, who caught him in the act.
    • Someone once hid in a bathroom closet and pleasured himself while watching family members relieve themselves (reportedly an aunt and a cousin, according to Will).
    • Someone got a girl pregnant in the last year and had to pay for her abortion.
    • Someone is addicted to porn and prefers masturbating at least twice a day over real sex.
    • Someone spent $10,000 on internet porn over the years.
    • Along with one of his friends, someone hired massage girls who stole their money without providing any of their services, leaving the pair together in their underwear.
    • Someone pleasured him or herself using meat and vegetables.
    • Someone has a half-sister who he or she never wants to meet.
    • Someone has had cosmetic surgery.
    • Someone once had a guy ejaculate on their chest.
    • After waking up from having his or her stomach pumped for alcohol poisoning, someone was having his or her genitals fondled by an acquaintance of the same sex

Today’s show also featured a press conference that featured a bevy of beautiful female reporters along with MSNBC’s Keith Olberman.
Howard 100 also added Superfan Roundtable host Jon Hein (Jump the Shark) as a full time employee, co-hosting the wrap-up show with Bababooey.

Oh Ticket Why Have You Forsaken Me?

Over the last 3 months since Big Dick Hunter was fired I’ve found myself listening less and less to The Ticket. At first I attributed it to the fact that I wasn’t listening to Big Dick on the way home, so my radio was no longer tuned to 1310 AM when I left for work in the morning. Now I think it’s the quality of the programming. I’ve always found Dunham and Miller just barely listenable. Was it not for Gordon Keith I wouldn’t listen to The Musers at all. Apparently I’m not the only one whose finding the ticket harder to listen to, just check out the latest Arbitron ratings, pay close attention to the trend. The station has been in decline since Jeff Catlin took over for Bruce Gilbert as Program Director, and has gotten even worse since the station was sold.  (Bruce Gilbert left The Ticket to become GM for ESPN Radio Network)
Anyone who would let Big Dick get away must be missing something. Cancel the show, that’s fine, but I would’ve found a way to use his talent.I got Sirius Sattelite Radio a little over a year ago, and have listened to it almost exclusively since. The only exceptions were Howard Stern and The Ticket. I still listen to BaD Radio and The Hardline occasionally, but nothing like I used to. I was a confirmed P1, even frequently choosing The Musers over Howard Stern. Now, I have a hard time listening to more than one segment without changing the channel. I don’t know what changed, but they just don’t hold my interest anymore.
I only hope for Richard that he made some good contacts while in New York, he would be a perfect fit for Howard 100 .

Sirius + Howard Stern is a Match Made in Heaven

With only a handful of shows left, I’m busting at the seams with excitement about Howard’s move to Sirius Satellite Radio. The creative flow released when the tethers of the FCC are removed will be mind blowing!

Many of the shows that have already aired have been nothing short of genius. ‘Tissue time with Heidi Cortez’ is just the thing to lull lonely geeks to sleep at night. Heidi tells sexy stories while pleasuring herself. One can only assume most listeners are doing the same. A particularly spicy show featured guest ‘David Letterman’ begging Heidi to act like Al Roker. When Heidi’s performance doesn’t measure up, ‘Dave’ urges Heidi to ‘Black it up’.

‘The Ben and Ray Stern Show’ was priceless. Howard’s parent’s fielded questions ranging from ‘Why did you continue to take Howard’s temperature rectally well into his teens?’ (Ray denies this is true. ‘Howard exaggerates,’ she says.) to ‘Did Ray really tell people that she was half black?.’ In fact, she did.

The flagship show of Howard 100 is ‘Howard 100 News’. A team of reporters bring you up to the minute news on all things Howard Stern. Each night at 6:00 PM EST you get the comings and goings of the Wack Pack, as well as interviews with regulars such as Ralph Cirella and Ronnie ‘the Limo Driver’ Mund.

Couple this non-stop entertainment with exclusive sports content from the NFL and NBA, exclusive music from Eminem (Shade 45) and Bruce Springsteen. Shows featuring personalities like Tony Hawk, Bam Margera, Lance Amrstrong, and Kelly Slater will tickle Gen-X’s fancy (Faction 28). What you get is a feast for the ears.
